Saturday (Break your plans Come join us! WE MEAN IT!!!)
10/10/09 10AM store opens Come early we welcome the any assistance. :-)
Registration will start at 10:30AM, games start at 11am sharp!
Tournament cost is $10 per person entering.
There will be three rounds, one at each point value starting with 350, 500 and then 750. With our new streamlined version we hope to have the tournament wrapped up by dinner time.
Prior to each game Press Ganger (Paul) will read the rules of the engagement to the group so that everyone knows and understands each game’s strategy.
350 round starts 11AM Sharp!!! Next rounds will be 500 then 750 point rounds, this is an Escalation style event
For the 750 point round you may use any Epic warcaster/warlock. ONE LIST for all point values. You may have 3 different casters for each list.
Things you need to do to make the tournament a success, basically we need this from you in order to make things run as smooth as possible.
Be on time to start the event. That means getting there by 10:00 am.
You will need to show Paul or Shawn a printed copy of your army list including all point sizes from an application like either Armies of Immoren or Tabletop Commander.
This means you will have to build your armies before showing up and PRINT OUT your army lists. If you do not have a way to download, run, or print this get in touch with Paul at the latest Friday night before the Tournament so he can spend some time building your list and printing it.
You will NOT be allowed to proxy models so make sure you have the model or make arrangements with someone to loan you the model(s) for the tournament. There are no exceptions to this rule. Unpainted models are fine.
Have a TV tray or box top or some way to carry your army and equipment around. This makes it much easier to move from table to table quickly.
Also feel free to read the Steam Roller 4.0 Rules if you would like, I am using them as a guideline. This is a custom tournament and I have adapted my own points and rules in some cases.
Be prepared to play and have fun!!!!! If you have any questions please ask Paul or Shawn. |
